I’m a complete beginner to mixed martial arts, can I still attend any class?

Do you offer a trial period before joining the club?
Yes we offer all new customers their first class FREE of charge. This gives you the opportunity to have a tour of the club, met the team and participate in one our martial arts classes. To claim your FREE class, contact us or call 07979815266 to arrange.
Can I bring a guest with me to Chum Sut?
Of course, all new potential members are welcome. Please contact us ahead of time to arrange day and style of martial art class attending. Guests are required to fill out a health questionnaire and liability waiver before participating in any classes at Chum Sut Academy.
I am interested in 1-2-1 private coaching, is this something Chum Sut offers?
Yes we offer personal training on a 1-2-1 basis. New clients must have an initial consultation with Head Coach (Tom Lamont) before bookings are confirmed. Please note, not all new inquires are accepted for private martial art lessons. Contact for more information.
What is the correct dress code to be worn at all classes and 1-2-1 private sessions?
Chum Sut dress code for attending classes and 1-2-1 private lessons is preferably your club t- shirt and shorts. If you are new to the club, shorts, tracksuit bottoms, t-shirts can be worn. Football tops are strictly forbidden.
How do I book a class on the timetable or a 1-2-1 private lesson?
If you would like to book one of our martial art classes or a 1-2-1 personal training session with our head coach Tom Lamont. Please either drop us an message via our contact form or give us a call 07979815266 to pre arrange your visit.
Is there a Pay as You Go option? to attend classes within the club?
You can pay for classes as a pay as you go member. Classes cost £10 per class. Before attending your first class, you will need to fill out a medical questionnaire and liability waiver form. Please turn up 15 mins prior to the class commencing.

Do I get 1-2-1 private lessons included with my membership?
Unfortunately NO, private 1-2-1 training is a separate service from you club membership. You do receive discount when booking a block of 6 sessions. Non member £35 per 1-2-1 martial art lesson, member £30 per block of 6 sessions.
Who provides your club members with insurance?
Currently Chum Sut insures all members and non members, through Martial Arts Great Britain (MAGB).
